Global responsibility for transforming procurement and supply chain.  Developed and improved the procurement function using a combination of stakeholder engagement and digital platforms. Enhancing all aspects of day to day operations.

• Created clear case for change at board and exec level, clearly communicating the benefits and route map.

• Transformed the indirect procurement function using global cloud based tools and systems, policies and processes from delivering sub £5M pa savings to over £15Mpa in 2 years.

• Led the Implementation of S2P globally, global savings system. Consolidated supplier base from 20,000 suppliers to 2,000.

• Implemented a global transformation supported by digital system implementation and new operating model.

• Transformed the Group team and Regional leadership team. Repositioning the function into a visible P&L contributor. Focusing on developing a group and global category program, procurement excellence and standardisation.

• Managing a supplier spend of £1.6Bn across indirect and direct categories with 50,000+ suppliers; implemented group and global policies.  Led strategic and rapid sourcing program of on average 400 projects per annum delivering over 15% blended savings.

• Responsible for Group & UK Property and Real Estate, 250 properties, devised and implemented a cost reduction led consolidation program in SE UK resulting in £3M annual P&L and cash flow each year for 3 years.
